Washing instructions
COCOMOON's swimwear is made from exclusive, high-quality materials designed to last over time. With proper care, the fit, color and feel will be preserved season after season.
Recommended washing
Hand washing is always recommended. Rinse the garment in cold, clean water immediately after use to remove salt, chlorine, sunscreen and sweat.
If machine washing is required, wash the garment in a laundry bag on a gentle cycle in cold water. Wash gently with a mild detergent. Avoid bleach, fabric softener and strong cleaning products as these can damage the material.
Drying
Never wring out your swimwear as this can affect the elasticity and fit. Instead, gently squeeze out excess water.
Let the garment dry flat in the shade. Avoid direct sunlight which can fade colors and weaken the material. Never use a dryer and do not iron the garment.
Storage
Store swimwear dry, flat and cool. Avoid hanging it on a hanger or folding it in a way that can stretch the material. Always make sure the garment is completely dry before storing.
Material and color
Some colours, especially bright or neon colours, may initially release excess dye. This is normal and will reduce after a few washes. Therefore, always rinse new garments separately.
To preserve the garment longer
Try to vary your swimwear and avoid wearing the same item for several days in a row. Avoid contact with rough surfaces such as pool edges, rocks or concrete. Apply sunscreen and oils before putting on your swimwear and allow the products to absorb properly.
